How far in advance should I book
my wedding?
Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Availability
is dependent upon many factors such as the time of year, the type
of wedding you are planning, and quite possibly the timing of
your call or appointment as luck may have it. We suggest that
no matter how soon or how far in advance your event may be, you
reserve one of the chapels now to guarantee your special date
and time.

What
if I already have a minister, coordinator, and pianist? Can I
also bring in my own photographer and similar services that I
have already booked?
We try to be as flexible as possible to ensure you have the wedding
of your dreams. Depending on the chapel, there may or may not
be house charges when bringing in your own outside service people.
Our packages include trained professionals whose ultimate goal
is to ensure that you are satisfied on your special day. Our photographers
and videographers specialize in chapel weddings and are familiar
with the settings, providing picture perfect quality at the time
you need it. Photography at The Little Wedding Chapel is also
offered in discounted packaging allowing you the opportunity to
preserve your dream at an affordable price.

How
do you ensure privacy between weddings? I’m sure my wedding
is not the only one that day?
We allow at least 15 minutes between the departure and arrival
times of subsequent weddings. It is important to us that you feel
special on your wedding day.

My
fiancé and I believe in two completely different faiths?
I don’t want to step on any toes during the ceremony, is
a chapel the right way to go?
The Little Wedding Chapel offers non-denominational ceremonies
suitable for all faiths.
Our ministers can also perform a civil ceremony in which God,
prayer, and possible scripture is omitted completely. This would
ensure that your ceremony would not offend any particular belief
or faith. We also try to honor requests for ministers of specific
gender or ethnic background. We have had countless ceremonies
in which the bride and/or groom have been fluent in a language
other than English and we have satisfied their need by offering
a minister fluent in that language or allowed a family member
or friend to interpret the ceremony.

What
do you need to get married in the State of Michigan?
On the day of the wedding we require that a valid marriage license
be presented to the minister performing the ceremony. To obtain
a marriage license one must produce a certified birth certificate
written in English and a valid photo i.d. to the county in which
one of the parties resides. There is a three-day waiting period
and the license remains valid for thirty-three days from the day
you apply.
